BALLET IN ABSTRACT
In 2013, three-time Grammy winning art director, John Kosh (KOSH), teamed up with Bradford Stewart to create a short film, BALLET IN ABSTRACT. They had a simple idea: project Stewart’s paintings on an elegant trio of ballet dancers. The result: wild imagery juxtaposed with classical ballet moves, interwoven with a dynamic jazz-fusion music score composed by Bob Luna. It all came together with demanding choreography by Melissa Sandvig. It was captured by cinematographer, Ben Simms. Legendary producer and fellow Grammy winner, Val Garay, mixed and sweetened the audio with editor, Tyler Knowles, and Susan Shearer, executive producer.
